Last Saturday I brought my granddaughter Caleigh to your store to decorate a cupcake (a turkey) and then a very nice lady read two stories about Thanksgiving. I just wanted to thank you for offering that program! Caleigh had such a great time and she was so proud of her cupcake. She has watched me decorate cakes and always wanted to help, but my icing isn’t of the same consistency so she was never able to help. Anyway, I just wanted to thank you again. The lady reading the stories was so gracious and great with the kids.

I know you were taking pictures, but if you’d like a few more I can send you some. I’m downloading them now to put on my Facebook page.

Oh, one other thing. I bake a lot and I have NEVER tasted an icing as good as yours!!! Ever! It’s a great consistency, but even better than that, it tastes great! It’s not too sweet. I would have never known how great it was if you hadn’t offered the Thanksgiving event for the kids.

I am a member of the OC C of C and I won one of your mini cakes last week. (original) I must tell you...it was DIVINE!! I have had many Smith Island cakes before and this was by far the best. The chocolate was out of this world. I cannot wait to try Red Velvet and Pumpkin....my two favorites.

I love "dessert" and love to talk to my friends when I find something they shouldn't live without trying. So...this cake makes the list. Kudos!!

We live in Napa, California and we received the Original Smith Island cake as a gift from our friends in Pennsylvania. It was delivered on 12/23/09. As soon as it got here I put the cake in the refrigerator, and did not take it out of the tin until Christmas day (we shared it with our friends and family - 20 people). As I took out the cake everyone was surprised to see the tin packaging. I took the bow apart and opened the tin, at this point almost everyone was around me curious to see what it would look like since we had just shared with them its origin. We were all very surprised to see that it was in perfect condition. Everyone agreed that it was very delicious, and was amazed at how moist and fresh tasting it was. Several of my guest said that it tasted homemade, and couldn't believe that it had been shipped to us from back east. It is one of the best cakes we've ever had, and it was by far the best dessert at our 2009 Christmas dinner. We definitely want to try other flavors.

I just wanted to say thank you for all of the help that went along with me receiving my Smith Island Cake by the time that I needed it. I misunderstood the 2 day mail option and thought that I had given myself enough time to receive my cake, but I didn't... when I called the store Sam and Kim both took great care of me from beginning to end and saw to it that my cake arrived today. I just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate the excellent service! They both went above and beyond and followed through with everything they promised. I am grateful that we can now leave for our trip in the morning...and I will have the surprise that I had planned on to light up a certain someone's face (Smith Island Cakes are his favorite)! Thanks for the help and for making a difference in our special day! P.S. Your full size, hand written cards are a really nice touch!

Oh, Yum! I purchased my first Smith Island Cake - Original Flavor as a Mother's Day gift and boy, was it a hit! It tastes just like homemade - not that bakery sickening sweet taste. Everyone loved it! It is so savory and moist. Loved that it is so well made that you can have a 'really' big piece or just a sliver - slices perfect every time. What a fabulous addition to the White Marlin Mall!

I received a Chocolate Cheesecake Smith Island Cake from the Original Smith Island Cake Company. The cake was no doubt a taste of heaven! I own a bed and breakfast and served it to my guests.
