cake care

here are some helpful hints to experience the ultimate flavors of our unique desserts.

if using when delivered:

• Take off remove protective wrap
• place in refrigerator
• prior to cutting, leave in tin for optimal freshness
• repeated removal from tin could damage the design of the cake
• serve at room temperature
• do not leave cakes out for extended periods of time
• do not leave cakes exposed to extreme heat
• takes 1-3 hours to reach room temperature from refrigerator
• lasts 7-10 days uncut
• Once cut lasts 3 to 5 days
• use thin knife to cut cake
• provides up to 14-16 slices

if not using right away:

• place in freezer with protective cover still in tact
• Freezer 2 to 4 months
• do not refreeze an already once frozen cake

when removing from freezer:

• remove from freezer 24 hours before using and place in refrigerator
• we recommend taking cake out of refrigerator 60-90 minutes before serving cake
• the taste of our cakes is superior at room temperature
